Fallsdell Machinery was founded in July of 1981 by Alex Greckin, Ken Yates and George Stam and started in a factory no bigger then 250 metres². The Founders of Fallsdell Machinery built the Company into a well respected organisation servicing an Australian wide customer network in the Food, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Allied Trade Industries.
Ken Yates and Alex Greckin have both retired, with Alex Unfortunately passing on in December 1998. In 1987 Fallsdell welcomed on board Maurice Melville and he along with George Stam are the current owners of Fallsdell Machinery.
In 1998 Fallsdell Machinery purchased the adjoining building which now sees Fallsdell with an impressive 2,500 metres² showroom.
Fallsdell Machinery over the years has been lucky enough to have a dedicated and loyal team and along with George and Maurice have had Margaret Callanan who joined Fallsdell in 1988 were she has been in reception, Bruce Drysdale who joined the sales team in 1992 and has now progressed on to General Manager. Then in 1998 Darren Cameron joined the Sales Team and shortly after in 1999 Neville Catterall came on board as well as George Jovcevski in the store, who are all still with Fallsdell to this very day.
In 2004 Fallsdell Machinery expanded again as it opened up its first interstate office in Melbourne, this is were we have welcomed our newest member of the Fallsdell Team with Sergiy Snip joining us and bringing with him a wealth of knowledge.
In recent times we have also been lucky enough to have Russell Shipley join the Sydney based sales team, Todd Flood who joined us as Service Technician and Gary Hunt who joins us in the store/office.
In the January of 2005 Fallsdell Machinery relocated its offices to the new adjoining building were it now offers a state of the art Office/Sales facility as well as an impressive New Machinery Showroom.
Fallsdell Machinery relies heavily on repeat business and with over 29 years of service it is clear that Fallsdell has maintained a good working relationship within our industry, a relationship that has grown Fallsdell Machinery from the early days of 3 Employees to a company that now has 12 Employees and one that is continuing to grow.
