Terms and Conditions: Fallsdell Machinery 2008 Tipping Competition
  1. The Competition will commence on the 14th March 2008 and will go for 26 Rounds. And is open to people involved in the industry. Fallsdel Machinery holds the right to reject entrants at any time.
  2. Anyone who joins after Round 1 will be awarded the average score (rounded down) up to that date. Joining will close on Monday the 14th of April (Round 5).
  3. You tip for the team that you think will win each game.
  4. You will also have to pick the winning margin on the specified Game of the Week. The Winning Margin will only come in to play if more than 20 people pick a full round (Full Round is defined as picking all games correct in the Round of football), this margin will act as a Tie Breaker.
  5. 1 Point is given to a correct tip, 0 points for an incorrect tip, and 5 points will be awarded for a tipper who picks a correct draw after the Golden Point Extra Time.
  6. You can only pick a maximum of 2 draws per round.
  7. Tips for each round will close at 6:00pm EST (Server Time) on the Friday before each round, unless otherwise stated (ie Friday night game in New Zealand), however we suggest that you enter tips before 5:30pm EST (Server Time) to avoid disappointment from clock discrepancies.
  8. If you fail to enter your tips before the 6:00pm EST deadline (Server Time), you will automatically be awarded the Away Teams and -1 point, The away Teams are as specified by the NRL before the start of the Competition.
  9. Each week their will be a weekly prize awarded for the people who picked a full round (excluding Rounds 8, 11, 14 and 17, due to the bye only 5 games are played in these rounds). If more than 20 People on any 1 week pick a full round then the Margin that you picked will act as a Tie Breaker and the 20 people who are closest to the Margin will receive the Weekly Prize.
  10. The Weekly Prize as described above is a movie ticket entitling 1 person to attend a session at any Village, Greater Union or Birch Carroll and Coyle Cinema in Australia valued at $15.
  11. At the End of the Competition their will be a prize awarded to the person who is on the Highest Score, Second Highest and Third Highest, if any or all of these are equal then we will work on a Countback Method. This works by the person who picked the most 8's if still equal we go down to 7's, then 6's and so on until we find a winner. If Still deadlocked then we will pick the winner out of a draw.
  12. At the end of the Competition there is also a prize for the person who finishes last (of the eligible players). This person must be deemed to have played 75% of the rounds to be eligible. Once again if this is tied their will be a countback, this time starting form the person who picked the most 0's, 1's, 2's and so on, if still deadlocked then we will determine the lucky looser from a draw.
  13. The Tipping Organisers Decision is Final and no correspondence will be entered into. We will be trying to ensure that the scores and details will be kept accurate. However, if a tipper feels their is a discrepancy in their weekly score they must advise us before the 6:00pm EST deadline (Server Time) of the following week.
